Ryan Policky’s Red Reel makes its triumphant comeback this week at Transmission Studio featuring A new short by Bloodshed Deathbath Productions. “Red” is a delightfully disturbing look into the mind of a mentally unstable murderer and should make your short list of must see horror flicks. This month’s Red Reel is sure to be the start of something new, so stay posted on future premiers by subscribing to PhilLuceroProductions.com and don’t be left out!
The Colorado Rapids Finished off the San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference Championship Last Night 1-0 advancing to the MLS Cup final against the Los Angeles Galaxy this year in Toronto, Canada. Utility Chris Seiler snapped this shot of Phil shooting hand held for Fox Soccer Channel. The temperature was a balmy 29º fahrenheit in Denver at kickoff but the Rapids scorched the Earthquakes in the closing minutes of the first half on their way to making their very first MLS Championship.
Scott Wilson Shot all the video at the 2010 Crankworx Colorado Mountain Biking Festival in Winter Park, Colorado and brought it to Transmission Studio for editing. Phil cut it together over the weekend to the sounds of New Politics and the collaborative effort yielded this sweet music video featuring highlights of this year’s event. Stay tuned for the Intergalactic Pond Crossing segment which we will be putting together soon for your continued viewing enjoyment.

Running the JimmyJib camera crane at the 2010 Red Bull MX1 International Motocross Championships last weekend at the Thunder Valley MX track in Lakewood, CO. ”Ready camera eleven… take eleven…Niiiccee!” I had the best spot in the house making a complete 360˚ camera/arm move as we put together a great show that aired all over Europe. Again, Yellow Gal HD assembled an awesome team and we killed it. Tens of thousands of fans showed up and the broadcast reached millions. A shout out to my utility Rob who helped me build and strike as well as capture this action shot of me from my Blackberry!
The Lightgroup chose Transmission Studio for their video production on August 19th. Here Bill LeVasseur and Michelle Tuttle of Maximum Talent prepare for their next scene while producer Kevin Skattum, director John Evans and DP Gil Barkey set-up the for the shot. It made for a very interesting day because the producers used ReflecMedia for the key effect and we had a green light ring on the hard camera with a blue light ring on the camera crane. The colors only crossed when the cameras were within about a 10-15 degree angle of each other. To prevent overlap we just avoided putting the cameras close enough together to cause any disruption and the reflective background cooperated. Other than the Ice Cream Man and his loudspeaker outside the backdoor, the shoot went smoothly.
